Here we go! I'm going to share idioms and expressions and, sometimes, phrasal verbs which I find interesting. Basically, I do it just to be in the stream of constant developing English skills. I'm convinced that knowing idioms and expressions makes our speech brighter, more confident and intelligent. This way we find invaluable keys to understending native English speakers more clearly and we become good conversationalists. Feel free to join me in this adventure.

1. heart-to-heart talk
   

   a private talk where you can ask or talk openly. It can be used when you want to share something especially with one person or a small group of people. Note that we use "have" with this expression.
   

   Example(s): Yesterday, I had a heart-to-heart talk with my unlce. He taught me a good lesson how to stay away from trouble at school.
   
   

2. two-faced (= be two-faced)
   

   It's about a person who says nasty things about you to others but they might be polite with you. Such people are usually insincere and dishonest.
   

   Example(s): Be careful, Stacy can be nice with you. In actuality, she's two-faced.
   
   

3. worn out (= be worn out)
   

   be very tired or exhausted
   

   Example(s): It was a long day, so now I'm absolutely worn out.
