Can we reunite this photo album with its owner? ALEXANDER It’s a long shot but it would be wonderful to return it to Alexander’s family. I am in Cambridgeshire gathering stories of The Cold War and today was shown this by Alan - who bought it at a flea market in Moscow in 2002. He was fascinated by Alexander’s photos - a young Russian man the same age as himself, who would have been serving on the opposite side of The Berlin Wall to him from 1968 - 1970. ‘I would love to be able to hand it back to him.’ It’s soon 30 years since the Berlin Wall came down... it would be an incredible reunion. Well - it’s worth a go - please can you share and let’s see if we can reach anyone who recognises these young men... x
Edit; his surname is not Grecko as I thought it was. Apparently it looks like Potsdam in Germany ... please keep sharing. Message me directly if there is info as I can’t see all the posts. Thank you x
