"Doing anything with the filters won't help, and might damage them. Do you have a can of compressed air? If yes, maybe use some of it in the little 'nostrils' to the left of the screen. That is where the sensors reside and there might just be something stuck inside that need dislodging.If that doesn't work, try a hard reset by pulling the power cord out of the machine, then insert the power cord while holding down the power button on the machine. Wait until the screen starts flashing and then let go of the power button.
