Мы приезжаем в маленькую деревню в середине леса, и я говорю своему другу, что это самое красивое место, которое я знаю, хотя он мне не верит. Он спрашивает: «Людям правда нравится здесь жить в палатках?» и я отвечаю: «Да, нравится, и в прошлом году мы разбили лагерь возле старого болота». Уставший пассажир из нашего автобуса присоединяется к нам и говорит, что это была худшая поездка в его жизни, потому что дорога была длиннее и холоднее, чем он ожидал. Хотя погода не очень приятная, мы ставим палатки и разводим костёр, и это по-настоящему здорово. Мой друг больше не жалуется и спрашивает: «Ты проходил самый длинный маршрут здесь?» Я говорю, что проходил, но он не был лучше сегодняшнего, потому что сегодня теплее и тише. Мы готовим ужин, мы не слышим машины, и ночь становится темнее и спокойнее. Утром он улыбается и говорит, что лес приятнее города, и просит приехать сюда снова в следующем году.
We arrive at a small village in the middle of the forest, and I tell my friend that this is the most beautiful place I know, though he doesn’t believe me. He asks, “Do people really like camping here?” and I answer, “Yes, they do, and last year we camped near an old swamp.” A tired passenger from our bus joins us and says it was the worst trip of his life because the road was longer and colder than he expected. Although the weather isn’t very nice, we put up our tents and start a fire, and it’s truly awesome. My friend doesn’t complain anymore and asks, “Did you walk the longest trail here?” I say I did, but it wasn’t better than today’s route because today is warmer and quieter. We cook dinner, we don’t hear any cars, and the night becomes darker and calmer. In the morning he smiles and says the forest is nicer than the city and asks to come here again next year.
